09/22/26
Club Real World presents
THE SLEEVES at Lit Coffee with William H Travis, Past Nurture, aaaand Bub’s Bread.
The Sleeves consist of Jack Cooper and Tara Cunningham (both members of Modern Nature). They just released their first EP, “THE SLEEVES,” and are heading to the US from their native UK to play a handful of shows in the Northeast, Great Lakes, and California. We’re so honored and humbled to have them in town and playing their sweet and delicate songs and sounds on Bethlehem’s Southside.
WILLIAM H TRAVIS
Can’t spell Bethlehem without WILLIAM H TRAVIS. Travis is a LV lifer and his contributions to making and documenting music and art in the Lehigh Valley are almost too immense to list here. There are precious few times I’ve been to a show where he was there wielding a camera and documenting the moments around here. He’s also one of the driving forces behind everyone’s favorite monthly show flier, The Bethlmite. And last but not least… he’s a goddamn songwriting force of nature. And if you need proof: this is a link to his bandcamp, okay?
PAST NURTURE
This may or may not be another musical project of Charlie Biando, who may or may not be the guy who turns the lights on and off at Blind Tiger. And as usual, there are no recordings of this. Is this a unique way to keep it spicy or is he being lazy? Come to the show and find out for yourself, irl.
PIZZA BY BUB’S BREAD
And to seal the motherf’ing deal, may we present PIZZA BY BUB’S BREAD. You know him. You love him. He’s everyone’s preferred sourdough bread man on the southside of Bethlehem and he’s kindly going to make you some tasty, tasty pizza (commonly referred to as Za by the devout followers of the stuff). I’m calling this “Rare Pizza” because sadly Mike has chosen not to work 24 hours a day and serve pizza in the afternoons and evenings after his bread shift ends.
And frankly, this is going to be a rare event on account of the rare pizza and rare tunes (from the UK, after all). Can you afford to miss this show? In this economy? Sheesh.
Okay, great. We’re in agreement. See you on 09/22/26. Again, advanced tickets confirming your access to all of this are available HERE.
