It’s not a gig… it’s not a throwdown… it’s not a pop-up. It’s an interesting evening… with short films, DJ sets, and, yes, even Bingo (with BTC prizes…).
And yes, it’s free. So, it’d be really weird if you didn’t come out!

This event is the first of many shows, hangs, and happenings from a new collaborative we (or I, Charlie) have joined. It’s called Club Real World. It’s a new venture meant to add to an already active scene of artists, musicians, and food makers; showcase them and/or hoping to bolster a sense of inspiration for folks around here- to continue making things, performing, etc. Further, we recognize our proximity to nearby locales like Philly, NYC, and other regional creative hubs and will be leveraging this to expand our creative connections, communities, communications, and transmissions ;-)

On my end, I’m hoping that this is in fact a real life shot in the arm to a dying notion once promised by the internet: that we can create infinite connections, push each other in creative pursuits, reject scarcity, and fucking have fun instead of receiving slop produced by AI or gross so called influencers, funneled into our faces via a few limited platforms run by algorithms and a handful of tech overlords - that we didn’t ask for- like foie gras geese.
