It's been a second but it's back. Orange you glad? WE.DEFINITELY.ARE. Orange You Glad is a moniker we use to showcase coffees from the "Great Lakes Region" of Africa (Burundi, Rwanda, Tanzania, the D.R.C, & parts of Kenya). They tend to boast big citrus vibes. This coffee was specifically grown by mister JMV Usekanabagoyi & processed at the Ngoma washing station in the Nyamasheke District of Rwanda. JMV grows Red Bourbon variety coffee on his farm at an altitude of 1750 meters above sea level. It's harvested at peak ripeness & presorted via a float test (less dense fruit floats on top & is removed). The fruit is then brought to Ngoma, where it is sorted further, placed in bags to ferment for 8 hrs, depulped, & fermented again for 12 hrs, vigorously washed, & sorted by density (denser seeds= sweeter). Afterwards, seeds are slowly dried on raised screens for 26 days, allowing Ngoma to perfectly stabilize the coffee for transit without losing vibrancy & affording them ample time to sort out potentially problematic coffee. Make no mistake, that's A LOT of work! It yields coffee that is vivid & sweet. We're glad, nay, honored. Orange U? Big thanks to all. <3 btc

BTW, this front label was illustrated and designed by D. Jaberi, who is gr8 & makes A+ music with her band, Suver.
